Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

This policy covers the Edible Marbles publishing tool, an internal tool used by the channel's operator to post the channel's own videos to TikTok and YouTube and to read their view statistics.

What is collected

When the operator authorizes the tool on a platform, the platform issues an access token and a basic profile identifier (such as an account id and display name). The tool stores these on the operator's own computer, in a file readable only by the operator's user account, so it can publish without asking for authorization every time.

After a video is published the tool periodically reads that video's public counts (views, likes, comments, shares) and stores them locally alongside the channel's production records.

What is not collected

The tool does not collect data about viewers, followers, or any person other than the operator. It does not read direct messages or private content. It does not use tracking cookies, advertising identifiers, or analytics services of its own.

Sharing

Nothing collected is sold or shared with third parties. Data is sent only to the platform it came from (for example, an upload request to TikTok) and stays on the operator's equipment otherwise.

Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept until the operator disconnects the tool, which can be done at any time by revoking access in the platform's account settings (TikTok: Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions) or by deleting the local credential file. Stored statistics are kept as part of the channel's records and can be deleted on request.
